On Thursday, April 18th, the Industry Business Council invites you to our Management / Operations luncheon to learn how to leverage social media platforms for your business needs.
The IBC welcomes guest speaker Sarah Pollo, founder of Pollo Communications, to share her expertise in social media strategies, and how businesses can use social media platforms to influence their target audience and market their products and services by determining their objectives and desired outcomes.

Sarah Pollo
Prior to starting her public relations firm, Sarah served as an Account Supervisor at Ogilvy’s Sacramento office. During her tenure at Ogilvy, she was responsible for managing the firm’s public outreach campaigns including social media organic and paid outreach for the City of Sacramento’s Accelerated Water Meter Program, the California Community Colleges Career Education campaign and Utah’s State Department of Corrections.
She has also served as a communications correspondent for Former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and Field Representative for Former Assembly member Roger Niello.
Sarah was recently awarded Sacramento Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 recognition, which honors 40 individuals under 40 for their outstanding professional accomplishments & community involvement. She has also been recognized nationally for her social media work, including a feature in the Examiner.
