RECOGNIZING AND RESPONDING TO MICROAGGRESSION AT WORK
This course will address the inequality and biases we experience in everyday life. This will allow participants to recognize innocuous language used knowingly and unknowingly to create an inclusive, welcoming and healthy workplace.
- Understanding what Microaggression and how it appears at the workplace
- Looking at our known and unknown bias language.
- The long-lasting effects it can have on those affected
- How to build an inclusive workplace where authentic conversations on tough subjects and language.
- Awareness is the key to in developing new language and terms that can have a hurtful connotation.
