She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Sydney, Australia (which included the first year of law school at the University of Sydney Law School), a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the University of Houston Law Center where she served as an editor of the Houston Law Review, and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
